1. MANIFESTING CORE VALUES – SETTING AND ACHIEVING
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GOALS
November 29th, 2008
Creating the Life you really want - Building the Career you
truly deserve! This is a different approach to Setting and Achieving your Personal and
Professional Goals!
Do you set goals and then forget about them? Do you get motivated at first
and then lose your motivation? Are you afraid of not being able to reach
your goals?
Do you want to:
- Find out what is most important to you?
- Set fulfilling goals that not only motivate you, yet inspire you?
- Simplify your life?
- Set goals that are lined up with your values and beliefs?
- Achieve your goals with a smile?
- Use your energy more effectively?
- Be inspired on the journey?
- Live by wants and desires instead of by needs, ‘ought tos’ and ‘shoulds’?
If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, this workshop is for you!
You can learn how to set goals that will motivate and inspire you!
To further support the content of this far reaching
topic, an expressive arts component is offered. This will take place in the
form of an exercise on paper, where the participants have the opportunity to
visualize their values and goals in a mental manner and create a witness of
them.
No previous drawing ability is necessary to do the exercise. An informal
discussion may follow. This part of the workshop is given by Karen Freud
www.karenfreud.com, a known Expressive Art
Therapist in Toronto.
Towards the end of the workshop, I will help you create a personal vision
including an action plan with steps to implement the plan. You can find out
what your real dreams are and turn them into reality, with less effort, more
focus and greater success...... yes, better and faster than you ever
imagined.
“ I always considered myself to be a goal oriented person...
somewhere to get to, somewhere out there. However this day was very
different. This day was about finding my own core values; make a vision
statement, a point of reference, a guide for life’s journey, a journey
beyond the level of awareness of yesterday.” - Homeira, Toronto

"At a time in my life when I needed a new direction and
fresh perspective, I met Christina at her goal setting workshop. Through her
open perspective and concrete approach she reminded me of the impact having
goals and a vision can have in order to make things happen. Her gentle hand
takes the step further to have you document these goals, live them and
report back. One of the business plans I wrote was granted financing and
became a reality. Muskoka Soul opened for business less than a year after
the plan was written. I feel empowered and excited about the direction my
life and my family's life is going." - Sandra Parlette Crossman, Owner of
Muskoka Soul.
